Eligibility Criteria

Interior designers must be existing BIID Registered Interior Designer® to qualify for Retired Member.

Application Process

No application is required. BIID Registered Interior Designer® members should email the office to request their membership is transferred to Retired membership.

Membership Fees

The subscription rate for Retired Members *£130 + VAT.

*If you switch to paying by direct debit you can spread your payments over the year by a direct debit collection only. If payment is made by BACS/Credit or Debit card the full invoice amount must be paid. Fees are reviewed annually.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Annual Subscription - Our financial year for membership runs from 1st April to 31st March. Annual subscriptions are due on the 1st April. Individuals who apply mid-year will be issued an invoice calculated monthly on a pro-rata basis.
  2. Resignations - Members should inform the Institute by 31st March if they do not wish to renew their membership.
  3. Refunds - No refunds of a subscription or part subscription are possible.
