Thorp were responsible for the architecture, design and decoration of the interior of this new-build house beside the sea and worked in collaboration with local architects on the exterior. Much importance was placed on ensuring natural daylight floods into the house and this, together with the high ceilings and pastel schemes, gives a fresh and airy feel to the property. The mixture of colourful fabrics and interesting pieces of furniture and objects creates a beach house that is both luxurious and relaxed, resulting in a welcoming refuge for family holidays.
