Job Description:
Based in our Islington office furniture showroom, we require a space planner and designer to work with the London sales team. We are a manufacturer who works with the public and private sector, selling direct to the end user.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team operating across London and the South East.
Primary tasks will include:
- 2D space planning and interior planning
- creating presentations for client visits
- take off’s from client plans
- managing the supplier library
- liaising with suppliers to ensure samples are available
- ensuring the correct product is in the showroom at all times
- working with clients directly in establishing specifications
- conducting showroom visits with the sales team
- accompanying the sales team on client visits
- preparing plans for installations
- creating case study documents from installations
There will also be occasions when design support will be provided to other areas of the sales force in the rest of the company depending upon demand
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, InDesign, Design Suite and office programmes will be required. Experience of working for an office furniture company is not essential but working in a related environment would be an advantage. Ideally you will have 2-3 years experience of operating in a business environment. You will need to demonstrate the keenness and energy required to be successful in this highly competitive industry.

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 plus bonus dependant on experience.
Location: Central Harrogate or Wetherby store
Job Description:
A superb opportunity for a retail Interior Designer exists based within our central Harrogate retail store.
We have been established over 25 years and produce bespoke interiors for the domestic and commercial market; our work ranges from single window treatments to whole house solutions.
Working within a close-knit team this role is ideal for an exceptional customer service representative that can make the customers feel inspired and ensure they are in good hands. The successful applicant will be able to:
• Provide clients with appropriate schemes to match their aspirations
• Advise on features and benefits and product styles
• Cost each scheme and provide quotes to customers
• Court and maintain own customer base from store contacts
• Maintain good knowledge of pattern book libraries
• Retain good knowledge of current market trends.
Full product training will be given but knowledge of relevant suppliers ranges for example Zoffany, Jane Churchill, Osbourne & Little, Colefax & Fowler, Sanderson would be an advantage; knowledge of upholstery sales would also be beneficial.
The practical skills of measuring and quoting for window treatments are essential
To be successful in this role you will have a genuine passion for working in Interior Retail and a desire to deliver a high standard of customer service.
You should be an enthusiastic, articulate individual with excellent sales and communication skills.
Hours of work are 5 days Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm.
