Top Floor is an international award-winning flooring specialist, providing a bespoke contemporary rug and carpet design service and an exclusive range of engineered wood flooring. It designs and makes its own collection of soft furnishing accessories and is a distributor for a number of leading European rug houses. Led by founder and Design Director, Esti Barnes, Top Floor works with architects, interior designers and private clients on prestigious residential and commercial projects in the UK and internationally.

Top Floor's core collection of 50 contemporary designs is continuously refreshed and includes hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs, incorporating sculpted pile, different textures and the use of traditional and unusual materials. Recent collections include Expressions, a range of 7 designs in which the rug pile is skilfully carved to exploit the play of light and Metallica, a collection of 11 flatweave rugs in which the contrasting matt and reflective qualities of plant fibre and metallic yarns are used to dramatic effect. Rugs and carpets may be made in almost any size and colour. Top Floor undertakes special commissions to create unique designs for specific projects. Delivery times are between 6 and 12 weeks.

Top Floor is recognised as an innovator. An example is Luminoso in which light-emitting LED's are interwoven with the woollen pile to create literally 'sparkling', designs. Likewise, Atlantique is a novel synthetic weave for use beside pools, on terraces or in spas.

Top Floor's versatile range of all-timber engineered wood flooring is a natural complement to its rug collection and meets the needs of both the residential and contract markets. Its robust construction makes it suitable for use with underfloor heating. It is available in a variety of widths (up to 45cm) and lengths (up to 7 metres), and offers an unusual choice of woods and oiled, lacquered and metallic finishes.
