Profile

Parapan

Parapan® is a high gloss solid acrylic material that offers great potential for interior design. Combining clean lines, sleek surfaces, accents of rich, solid colour, and following the latest modern trends in upmarket, contemporary interiors, Parapan® is a revolution in style and finesse.

In today's climate for hectic consumer lifestyles, timeless solutions for striking and innovative home decoration are proving increasingly difficult to track down. Yet Parapan® is a solid acrylic that answers all the aesthetic and practical demands of modern kitchens, bathrooms and furniture designs, whilst sacrificing none of the durability and ease of maintenance one would ideally expect from an acrylic-based substance.

Offering brilliance and depth of colour which is also UV stable and fade resistant, Parapan® comes in many colours from vivid tones through pastels to black and white, and is ideal for doors, drawers, and cabinet fronts.

As the material is solid all the way through the appearance shares the same qualities on both sides.

Doors, drawers, fascias, etc can be made to any size, with a choice of edge treatments cut from solid sheets, Parapan® avoids the need for unsightly or unhygienic plant-on edges. The simple appearance of the finished product means that doors and drawers can be dressed up or down as required with almost any style of handle, or finger pulls added instead.

Parapan® is also extremely workable as it can be thermoformed into curves and machined like wood.

Parapan's durability and moisture-resistance make it especially suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and hygiene-critical installations such as dental surgeries. British kitchen and bathroom designers are now starting to explore the material's aesthetic potential alongside high-profile European names such as Agape, whose Flat XL bathroom makes extensive use of Parapan®.

Seems like the future of super-shiny bathrooms, kitchens and furniture has arrived!
