Founded in 1984, Lapicida’s roots are in the North and their Harrogate showroom (which has won design awards in its own right) is a 20,000 sq ft temple to stone. Beautiful floors and walls, tiles, murals and garden paving form a backdrop for baths, basins, sculptures and complex architectural features … from unique surface finishes to 3-D objects in stone.  Adjoining workshops house Lapicida’s traditional artisans and technicians operating the most advanced scanning and automated stone-working equipment in Europe.  

The brand new London flagship showroom is at 533 Kings Road. A ‘total concept’ environment, its 5,000  sq.ft.  showcases interior and exterior stone in an extraordinary array of materials and dimensions.  An utterly inspiring space, the showroom is open to retail and trade;  Lapicida work with many leading architects and designers on  domestic and commercial projects.

Lapicida’s bespoke stone offering starts from the premise that anything is possible.  Sourcing highly specialist stones from across the world, they transform them into anything from bas relief tiles to cantilevered staircases, balustrades, full scale statuary, book-matched panels, custom designed inlays and intricate mosaics.  This is bespoke British craftsmanship at its very highest level.

At the other end of the spectrum, Lapicida’s considerable buying power means that they also offer straightforward top-quality stone tiles from stock at keen prices which eclipse poorer grade stone products sold on the High Street.
