Jenny Gibbs Appointed President of the British Institute of Interior Design

We are proud to announce that Jenny Gibbs, the founder and Principal of KLC School of Design, has been appointed President of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) at the Annual General Meeting held on 27th January 2010.

For the last two years she has been the Board Director responsible for the re-development and expansion of the Continuing Professional Development programme in London and the regions, substantially increasing attendance numbers. Encouraging high standards of education and professional practice will form a key part of the Institute's ongoing strategic plans.

The British Institute of Interior Design is committed to encouraging and supporting creativity and competence in the field of interior design through education, practical professional support development opportunities and facilitating of best practice. The BIID sets the standards for the highest calibre of professional practice and together with our members, forms a collective of expert interior designers committed to furthering the impact and influence of interior design.
