The Unique French Touch at the French Embassy

Published on:25/11/2010

I checked in just behind Janice Morley editor of the Homes & Property section of the Evening Standard, who is delighted by the increased circulation the paper now has, and we just had time to slip into our seats before a warm welcome from the French Ambassador, His Excellency Maurice Gourdault-Montagne.

“The Unique French Touch” was a promotional evening for the Paris Fashion and Home Design trade shows and guests included luminaries such as Terence Conran and Mary Fox Linton.  Journalist Catherine Galloway did an excellent job on hosting a series of panel discussions and at the subsequent champagne reception, I reflected that we could certainly learn something from this event about how we might promote British Interior Design more effectively
