Don't Move Improve!

Published on:21/11/2011

The BIID is supporting the annual NLA (the centre for London's built environment) "Don't Move, Improve!" competition which includes, for the first time, a new award category recognising the Best Interior Design Project. The competition, now in its third year, is open to architectural practices, interior designers and members of the public with extension or refurbishment projects completed in London within the last three years. Closing date for entries is 30 November 2011. All short-listed schemes in the competition will be exhibited at NLA's galleries in The Building Centre, WC1, from January to March 2012, supported by a public programme of free talks and consultation sessions with architects and interior designers. In 2010 the Don't Move, Improve! open day welcomed over 1,000 visitors through the doors, with three free seminars, 12 architects and three interior designers running surgeries every 30 minutes from 11.00am through to 5.00pm.
