Making Marks is a journey through a fascinating life. Perhaps it is her peripatetic childhood  that has given her a global vision. Born in Libya to a an Indian Army father,  after attending twelve schools worldwide, Sue launched a career in Japan from a Royal College of Art Travelling Scholarship. She then opened the first Timney-Fowler shop in London’s hip Portobello area which launched her successful career as an interior and lifestyle designer. An exhibition “
Sue Timney and the Design of Timney Fowler” opens on the 19th November 2010 at the Fashion and Textiles Museum in London.

Sue will be signing copies of her Book at the RIBA BOOKSHOP, Design Centre Chelsea Harbour on the 28th September at 1.30pm.
