Mayfair office refurbishment, London
Refurbished building exterior elevation
This Mayfair office required a full building restoration process, its spaces having been previously sub-divided and the decorative finishes neglected over the past two decades. Its Grade II status meant that approval was needed for all the internal and external refurbishment proposals. Permissions were obtained through the relevant bodies and we were able to liaise closely with various consultants and project managers throughout this process. Respecting the original architecture and period detailing, the design and space-planning was provided to meet our client’s occupation requirements, creating a mix of open-plan office areas for various teams, boardroom and meeting rooms, as well as specific floors, which were to be let to other clients. The lighting design was approached with a view to providing an energy and light efficient scheme, suitable for a period building - but with a very contemporary feel. Decorative finishes and detailing for areas such as the reception, boardroom and meeting rooms and executive WCs, created smart and sophisticated spaces.
