Profile

Tessa Kennedy / Tessa Kennedy Design

Tessa Kennedy is renowned throughout the world of interior design, and over thirty years has established one of the country’s leading design teams.

Following two years of office as President of the International Society of Interior designers in Britain and three years on the International Board, Tessa was made a Fellow of the International Interior Design Association. Tessa was recently voted Designer of the Year for her designs at the Ritz Hotel and “because besides being talented, professional and experienced, she adds her own special brilliance to her projects and is an inspiration to designers all over the world”.

The company works on the highest quality projects with the ability to offer a complete interior design package, from initial concepts through to production drawings, specifications, organising contractors and finally placement of furniture. The ability to co-ordinate the many details of an interior results in clients returning time after time. Although in all projects comfort and practicality are paramount, Tessa always aims to incorporate a touch of magic and theatre to each and every project.

Clients include Royal Families, international businesses, leading hotels, film and rock stars. While Tessa’s work often features in leading magazines and books many clients prefer the confidentiality that Tessa offers.

Projects - The team has extensive experience on the largest of projects world-wide, often working as part of a full professional team with architects and engineers. Projects are extremely diverse, including luxury residential, restaurants & bars, VIP office suites and show apartments, grand hotels and prestigious retail outlets, yachts and casinos.

Style - The styles of projects are very diverse, being exactly tailored to the needs of each client, whether contemporary, traditional, flamboyant, discrete or classical.
