Sylvia Lawson Johnston has been in business since 1982, initially based in Aberdeen and now in Aberdeenshire. She recently refurbished her studio into a light and spacious area, not only to enhance her design environment but also to house her extensive library of pattern books.
She has worked on a wide variety of projects, large and small, corporate and private, in a number of destinations globally. She has a proven track record of meeting deadlines and excels at creating a stunning environment to suit even the most unusual requests.
Sylvia has a flair for contemporary styles, embracing the most up to date technology whilst at the same time retaining an elegant, classical but comfortable interior. Paramount to her work is meeting her clients’ expectations, whilst taking into account their lifestyle requirements. Sylvia enjoys working with individuals and families to achieve something of lasting value and style. Whether working with an architect from the conceptual stage of a complete refurbishment, or undertaking the sensitive redecoration of a set of rooms within an existing home, each job is overseen personally.
