Gilly Chance started the company with her partner in 1978. Since inception they have undertaken a variety of commissions from prestigious 5* hotels to luxury houses, villas and apartments, plus numerous key corporate headquarter buildings and private hospitals. The company is familiar with both traditional and contempory styles and are happy to mix antiques with modern interiors. Having a love of architecture and a wealth of experience, Gilly is very keen on shape, form and colour and uses these to the best of their advantages in her schemes. Not describing herself as a minimalist she equally dislikes clutter and too much pattern, preferring simplicity and comfort. In addition to spatial design, they also design and commission bespoke furniture to compliment the schemes. Some of the most recent pieces have been made to house complete music systems and plasma screen TVs. We also design kitchens, fully equipped dressing rooms, bedroom/dining room furniture, directors’ and boardroom furniture plus reception desks. Gilly always selects unusual timbers and veneers from sustainable sources. The company is able to offer a complete design service to include all aspects of building works plus furniture, fabrics, wall and floorings etc. Our well stocked design studio interprets the requirements of our clients and by utilising space in the most efficient manner, incorporating the very best of furnishings selected from around the world, we achieve the ultimate interiors. As highly skilled designers we produce detailed drawings and specifications. We provide a personal and efficient service with Gilly herself always discussing the projects through with the clients and overseeing the work whilst in progress. Our longevity has been based on our ability to keep our clients involved and we pride ourselves on being able to produce inspired designs on time and budget. No projects are ever considered too challenging.
