We are an architectural interior design consultancy specialising in high-end residential commissions in London and Hampshire. From space planning to styling we will help to transform your home, whatever its state of undress.

We create contemporary spaces which are luxurious and comfortable, sophisticated in their apparent simplicity and elegant in proportion. As passionate about the architectural integrity of your property as we are the exquisite details, we will work with you to deliver smart, sensitive and original solutions that make your residence work for you.

We’ll talk about design that makes us say ’wow’, design that makes us smile, but you won’t find us trying to convince you of a signature style, or focusing on a look and feel that bears no resemblance to the realities of your life. We create personal spaces which say something about who you are, or who you want to be; spaces which are completely focused on the way you want to live.

We’ll be as involved as you want us to be, and would be delighted to work with you at whatever level you choose. We believe in making the whole process as smooth and as enjoyable as possible, from start to finish.

Residence was set up by Stephen Dick in 2007 to focus on the types of projects he loves best: the creation of highly individual, stunning, contemporary spaces without compromise on luxury or comfort.

He is a full member of the British Institute of Interior Design and his design expertise includes high-end residential and commercial projects and international five-star hotels. For years he worked for award-winning architects and design practices – including being part of the Jestico + Whiles team when they were awarded 2007 Interior Designer of the Year.

He is an idFX/BIDA awards finalist and winner of the Veedon Fleece design competition. His work has been showcased in the industry-leading idFX Magazine and he has been included in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review – a collection of the industry’s leading lights. In March 2010 he was chosen as one of the ‘Top Ten Rising Stars’ in Interior Design by idFX.

We work on projects across London – from Piccadilly to Parliament Hill, Westminster to Waterloo. Our studio is based in Hampshire, with easy access to the capital, yet set in some of the most stunning countryside in the UK. We welcome enquiries from London, Hampshire and beyond, including Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex & Wiltshire.
