Profile

Melanie Boissevain / Melanie Boissevain

Melanie Boissevain is a small interior design firm based in West Wales with offices in central London. Melanie holds an honours degree in Interior Design and is a member of both the BIDA and the CSD.

As a small company, attention to detail is paramount and we work to varying levels of budget from small intimate spaces to large projects with budgets in excess of £1million both in the UK, Europe and The West Indies.

Our work includes the sourcing and procurement of furniture and decorative accessories to the commissioning of bespoke cabinetry. This is combined with a project co-ordination service from concept to completion.

Enormous importance is placed on your needs and ideas in order to create stylish and innovative interiors.

We offer bespoke services in the following areas:

  • lighting schemes - we can design and implement the ideas to complement an existing space or create something new
  • soft furnishing service - ranging from small flats to large apartment buildings. We have accounts with major suppliers such as Designer’s Guild, Osborne and Little, and Porta Romana amongst many others.
  • supply of all items for a scheme; from carpets and tiling to complete designs for bathrooms and kitchens.

Diversity and variety of design is what we thrive on. Coupled with a friendly, hands-on approach, we pride ourselves on building strong working relationship with stunning results.

Past and current projects include:

  • exhibition spaces for the National Trust;
  • private residences in Wales, England and Mustique;
  • café and shop for a registered Ancient Monument in Pembrokeshire
  • a Notting Hill pied-a-terre.
