Mary founded her interior design business in 1996, after training at the prestigious KLC School of Design. Prior to this, she followed a highly successful corporate career in senior management, having initially qualified as a chartered accountant. Mary is renowned for her innate sense of style and space, her passion for colour, and a meticulous eye for detail. She is also well known for her highly professional, structured and disciplined approach

Her design office and showroom in Barnt Green typically serves clients across the Midlands, although Mary is happy to work further afield by arrangement. It houses a wide collection of inspirational sampling from the top design houses, as well as specialist suppliers, and includes fabrics, trimmings, wallpaper, floorcoverings, lighting and furniture. It is also home to an extensive library covering every aspect of interior design

Mary deliberately works with a small design team, enabling her to supervise all projects personally, and to keep the overall design process within her control. She is able to call on a trusted network of skilled specialists to back up her design service. These include architects, restorers, lighting designers and bespoke furniture makers, as well as trade contractors
