Xia Jiang / Jia Tai Design

Jia Tai Design was founded by Xia Jiang in 2007. A native Chinese who came to the UK in 1998, Xia had worked in advertising and media before obtaining an interior design diploma with distinction from a London academy. Now a British citizen and an associate of BIDA, Xia has completed various projects, including boutique hotel, TV studio, office, exhibition and residential in both UK and other countries, with services range from spatial arrangement, concept and scheme design, lighting planning, FF&E (furniture, fittings and equipment) and materials specification and supply, on-site supervision and project co-ordination.

In Chinese, Jia Tai means elegance and excellence, which are the qualities Xia and her team strive for. Vibrant and dynamic, with fresh outlook and tremendous passion for interior design, Jia Tai Design creates truly unique and practical interiors for home and business owners.

Strong believers in eclecticism, we analyse trends and study styles, customising and revitalising them for each project. We observe and listen to clients carefully, yet allowing room for our creativity and imagination.

We know that successful interiors should not only provide visual impact but also provoke emotional response, so we work hard to achieve balance and harmony in our design.

Ecological design is our primary choice whenever possible. It drives us to respond with new ways of thinking.

We believe in attention to detail and communication. Depending on the level of involvement clients decide to have in the projects, we collaborate with other professionals involved, while ensure accurate implementation within the agreed budget and time frame.

Jia Tai Design is fast growing, with an increasing residential client list, as well as progression in hospitality, retail and office sectors.
