Southover Design is a well established innovative interior design and home renovation consultancy operating in the Surrey, Sussex and Kent areas. We are well known for our attention to detail in all aspects of every commission, whether it is for the interior design of one room or the remodelling of an entire building.

We firmly believe that whatever space we are designing, whether it is a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom or a lounge, the rules remain the same. Listen, understand and then design. Our aim is to understand the client's personality and incorporate this into any interior design work so that the client feels at home not the designer. 

It is not our job to impose our taste on you. Our task is to interpret your ideas, and guide you so that the finished room is exactly as you would want it to be had known what you wanted! We firmly believe that your home should be a reflection of you, your personality and lifestyle. Not something copied from the pages of a glossy interior design magazine. Whether your tastes are traditional or modern or somewhere in between, we aim to work in partnership with you to develop a living space designed for your particular lifestyle.

Before starting on any interior design project, we like to get to know you - your family’s likes, dislikes, and even your pets and pastimes. We ask for your views on your home and the aspirations you have for its future. Above all, we look very closely at the basic structure of your property:Could space be maximised by moving a particular wall? Is re-wiring urgently required? Do the walls need re-plastering? We can spare you from costly ‘interior design disasters’ and endless paint tester pots in the wrong shade simply by showing you how to optimise the available space in terms of colour, lighting, flooring and furnishings. 

When the designs have been agreed we oversee all projects to ensure that your ideas are realised and that deadlines are met, leaving you to carry on with your every day life.And finally…Interior designers do not waft around in leather trousers all day calling everyone ‘darling’. We are down-to-earth professionals committed to exceeding the expectations of our clients.
