Profile

Karen Howarth / Interior Therapy Partnership

Interior Therapy is a Bath-based interior design practice that was established at the beginning of 2004 undertaking mainly domestic projects in and around Bath as well as Wiltshire. Before interior design I worked in various fields including a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a charity in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was active in fostering and maintaining close cultural relationships between Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. Although Interior Therapy does not have a particular ‘style’ I gravitate more to modern and contemporary whether that be in a Georgian townhouse or a modern build. However contemporary style is always tempered with the importance of comfort and practicality and making clients houses feel very much like their home. From producing concept designs to a helping hand through the whole process I can be involved as little or as much as clients wish. No matter how much that involvement is I strive to build good working relationships and help clients realise their vision for their project.Karen Howarth
