Howard Clulow / Hulme Upright Manning

With 20 years experience working for Architects Hulme Upright Manning I have developed the successful Interior Design division of the business while maintaining an active architectural role. This experience successfully enables me to appreciate the whole design process allowing all aspects of the building design to be embraced from the initial brief through to completion, comprising a full design and management role.

Rather than having a ‘house style’ I wish to treat every commission on its individual merits working closely with the client to expand the brief into a unique and innovative style with good research and attention to detail being all important.

The philosophy I aim to follow is to provide the correct balance between Form, Function and Innovation working within agreed budgets and programme to provide the client with an Interior Design that exceeds their original expectations.

Recent project in the commercial sector include Offices, Hotels, Healthcare, Restaurants and Education comprising restorations of listed buildings and new build contemporary designs.
