Profile

Emma Sims-Hilditch / Sims Hilditch Ltd.

Emma Sims-Hilditch comes for a long line of artists and has had a lifelong interest in art and design.

On leaving business school she spent 5 years working in the Film Production world, chiefly for film director Ridley Scott. This was her foundation in major project co-ordination as well as experiencing set and costume design on a dramatic scale.

On moving to Bath she established her Interior Design Consultancy in 1995 and now enjoys working on a wide range of projects both residential and commercial. The key to her success is a persistent requirement for understanding the individual needs of the client. Her sympathetic use of colour, light and texture are hallmarks of her work, whilst her professional yet friendly approach often means her clients return for further projects.

Her main experience is with both private and commercial clients. Private commissions have covered both contemporary modern interiors as well as the classic country look. In the commercial field she has focused on working with developers to produce “turnkey” properties as well as assisting businesses to achieve individual and inspiring workspaces.

Recent commissions include the complete refurbishment of a Grade II listed building to create an elegant family home. The development and decoration of a substantial new manor house in Wiltshire. A development of contemporary waterside apartments. A fresh design for a new office development incorporating the company branding into the reception, boardrooms and restaurant.
