Katherine Elworthy
Executive Manager
Katherine joined the British Institute of Interior Design in 2009. Her primary role is in supporting the work of Council and the Committees and helping Council to develop and implement new and effective strategies, to promote the highest standards of practice and governance and to look for ways to raise the profile of the organisation. She is also responsible for the management of the Institute team and office including human resources, finance and operations.
Joy Curniffe
Membership Manager
Joy joined the British Institute of Interior Design in 2000. Her role is focused on the key aspects of building up the membership and supporting the existing membership. She is responsible for application entry processes, annual membership renewals, application documentation and maintaining membership procedures. Working closely with the Membership Director she develops and implements an annual recruitment plan. She is also responsible for organising the summer party, networking events and is present at exhibitions to promote the benefits of joining the BIID. Joy welcomes the opportunity to speak with individuals, companies and educational establishments who are interested in joining the BIID.
Louise Nornes
Marketing Assistant
Louise joined the British Institute of Interior Design in 2011. Her role is focused on the marketing activities of the Institute but she is also the first point of contact at the Institute for members and visitors. Louise works with the Marketing Director and the Institute's marketing and PR agency to promote the Institute in various ways including the BIID website, e-newsletters, social media, publications, exhibitions, special events and media coverage. Louise welcomes the opportunity to speak with individuals and companies about potential partnerships with the Institute.
